My name is Sophie Rose Cadle, 23-year-old youth transgender & gender non-conforming youth policy advisor, consultant, and advocate in the City of New York, I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Washington Heights, NY.
I’m a natural born leader, driven to make a change in the world, I stay up to date on current events and often considers all sides to the story in an attempt to understand the reasoning behind each one. My passion is advising on law changes & city programming that affect Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming folks and my goal in doing so is to make the necessary changes to protect and fairly represent the underrepresented and marginalized TGNC community.
While advocacy for my community is very important to me, I am always open to learning about the issues others around me and my community may be experiencing and advancing those interests, as well. Although I maintain a professional and stoic exterior, I still manage to remain very warm to everyone.
